    http://blueheronrivertours.com/

Wednesday, December 2, 2015, the West Volusia Audubon is sponsoring one of its premier annual events, a St. Johns River tour with Blue Heron River Cruises, and you are invited. As a special treat, the boat is reserved completely for us and the conversation will lean to birding. It is on a first come; first served basis. As of this moment they have 22 signed up and the boat holds 40. So there is still room. The cost is $25.00 per person. It's short notice to get your money to Eli. But if you show up, and there is still room, you can pay on site.
Please arrive at Hontoon Landing Marina, 2317 River Ridge Road, DeLand, between 3:00 and 3:15 PM. The boat will depart at 3:30 PM and return at 5:30 PM, or a little later.
Please do bring binoculars, cameras and any snacks and beverages.
You are encouraged to RSVP to me as soon as possible and make your check payable to "West Volusia Audubon". Please mail it to:
    Eli Schaperow
    902 Sweetbrier Drive
    Deltona, Fl. 32725
It is short notice so you can RSVP to me at Roger@RogerFulton.com here and we'll try to reserve a spot for you so you can pay on arrival. But it is on a first come; first served basis.

A little rest and back to Beresford Park. A total of about 8-10 miles depending on the group. Helmets and water required. Adults only. Meet at Roger’s Jeep. There are restrooms and water at Beresford Park. May see a variety of wildlife along the way.

Fall Hike Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Lime Hollow

Fall Nature Hike at Lime Hollow Nature Center: Join outdoor writer Roger Fulton on Saturday, November 7th at 3 pm at Lime Hollow Nature Center for a Fall Nature Hike. The leaves are gone and we will see how nature is coping with cooler temperatures and shorter days. We will cover about 2.0 miles of easy trails at a casual pace and we will be finished right about sunset a  little before 5:00. Meet at the Nature Center at: 338 McLean Rd., Cortland, NY 13045. There are no fees and there should be ample parking at the Center. Adults (16 and above) are welcome. No dogs on this segment of the refuge. Space is limited to a total of 12 members and guests and other groups are invited.
This will be my last posted hike in NY for the season. The next entries will be for Florida where we have lots of indoor and outdoor events scheduled.
