Christmas Lighted Night Bike Rides Port Orange, Florida

To all of my Florida biking friends – A proposition!
Last year Ed, Cindy and I went to Orlando to join a biking group on a lighted Christmas bike ride at night to view great Christmas decorations through a variety of residential neighborhoods. We had a GREAT time! We saw beautiful decorations, and with many of our bikes decorated in lights, at times, WE were the spectacle as people cheered as we wheeled through neighborhoods!
Soooo, it seems that I am now in a very quiet residential area of Port Orange, housesitting for Cindy while she is in England. And there are many quiet residential neighborhood developments near here who pride themselves on great decorations.
See where this is going for our group?
I’ll map it out and lead on Monday night, December 10th and another on Sunday night, December 16th.  If anyone else is interested in joining me on either night, or both, email me your interest. You will be required to have a bike with a headlight and taillight and helmets are required. Your bike does not have to be decorated, but it’s so much fun!
I’ve attached a pic of mine that is ready to go. Total cost was about $26.00 for all the lights. Google: Christmas bicycle lights for options. Got all mine at a local ACE Hardware store in Ormond beach and easy to install. Didn’t even need Ed’s mechanical expertise.
So let me know if you are interested. Especially if you can volunteer to be the Sweep on the ride.
Should be great fun. And maybe ice cream afterward at the Neighbors store just up the street.
