As a friend and colleague you are personally
invited to attend a FREE pilot
seminar titled Safe in the Woods based upon my upcoming book of the same name.
In a series of Powerpoint presentations, it will cover the basics of how to
explore natural areas and trails safely, from the Cascade Mountains to the
Florida swamps. So whether you are out for a casual walk, a short hike or a
more adventurous outing, this presentation could help you or others to prevent
serious problems. Topics include what you need to be prepared to go out into
the woods, how to read trail markings, and what to do if you do get disoriented
or lost. Call or e-mail to discuss or schedule. 386-956-6089, afternoons or
evenings, or Roger@RogerFulton.com.
If you cannot personally attend you may enroll
another person, at least 16 years of age, who may have an interest in and
benefit from such a training program. Class size is very limited, so reserve a
spot very soon for yourself or someone else.
The seminar will be held on Saturday, September
13th from 2-5 pm at Lime Hollow Nature Center, 338 McLean Road, Cortland, NY
13045.
