Nature Hike Sunday April 9 at 3-5 pm
Join me on this wildlife tour of Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge in Deleon Springs, Florida. Master Naturalist and author Roger Fulton will lead a nature tour exploring the refuge and its flora and fauna. It will be the last hike I lead this season as I am heading north next weekend. All you have to do is sign up and show up at the Myacca Parking Area on Mud Lake Road in Deleon Springs, FL. Roger will have his 60 power scope for great views of the birds and other wildlife on the refuge. We will cover about 2 miles in about 1.5 hours of easy walking on flat trails. Good footwear is recommended and no open toed shoes. Adults only and no pets. Heavy rain or lightning cancels.
