Back in Florida for the winter 2023-2024

 

I'm headed to Deland, Florida, until April of 2024.

As soon as I get there, we'll get started with outings and events in Central Florida. If you are a biker, I will lead a bike ride on the Spring-to-Spring Trail out of Lake Beresford Park in Deland every Friday afternoon at 3 pm (once it reopens.  It's currently closed).  This ride is only a small part of the available paved bike trails in Central Florida.  You can explore all of the spring-to-spring trails and many more independent trails that I've shared in my book Biking in Central Florida book

New to Wednesdays at 3pm, I'm adding an off-road bike ride at various locations, which are contained in my book https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQXT69PC.  All 3 of my books related to these trails can be found at https://ferrelloutdoors.com/guides-and-books  for easy purchase via Amazon.  Distance and pace to be determined by who shows up.

I'm back in Cortland, NY for the summer!

I'm back in Cortland, NY for the summer. And, I'll be leading Nature Walks every Sunday afternoon, weather permitting from now until October.  We only cover about 2 miles at a moderate pace, stopping frequently to discuss what we find in nature.
