Nature Walks in December - Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge

Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge, Deleon Springs, Florida

Friends and Family Outings in December - Every Sunday at 3 pm to 5 pm

Each year we invite our favorite people to join us on free outings at Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge in DeLeon Springs, Florida. We meet and greet at the Myacca Parking Area (and hope the eagles are out) and then lead a 2.0 mile casual hike along the dikes of the ponds to view the wildlife. We’ll have our spotting scope with us so we can “reach out and touch” birds and other wildlife at up to ¼ mile or so. We’ll spot several species of wildlife and explore all of the flora and fauna we can find during our tour.
It’s a fun day, weather permitting. (We’ll be there no matter what the weather, but some of you may be “fair weather” friends and we’ll understand.)
If you receive this message, or have been told about it, then you are welcome to join us on any or all of the Sundays in December.
I’ll be the one with the big scope and tri-pod, and a big red Jeep.
Join us if you can.

Roger
