Fall Nature Hike at Lime Hollow Nature Center: Join outdoor writer Roger Fulton on Saturday,
November 7th at 3 pm at Lime Hollow Nature Center for a Fall Nature Hike. The leaves
are gone and we will see how nature is coping with cooler temperatures and
shorter days. We will cover about 2.0 miles of easy trails at a casual pace and
we will be finished right about sunset a little before 5:00. Meet at the Nature Center
at: 338 McLean Rd., Cortland, NY 13045. There are no fees and there should be
ample parking at the Center. Adults (16 and above) are welcome. No dogs on this
segment of the refuge. Space is limited to a total of 12 members and guests and
other groups are invited.
This will be my last posted hike in NY for the season. The next entries will be for Florida where we have lots of indoor and outdoor events scheduled.
