Labor Day Hike September 5th at 3 pm - O.D. von Engeln Nature Preserve at Malloryville

It's Labor Day and we don't want to work too hard. So we will "nature explore" this unique area. It includes a bog, a marsh and a swamp and explains the differences between them. It is truly a 'nature study' event. Your host is Master Naturalist and author Roger Fulton. www.RogerFulton.com
We will cover less than two miles of fairly easy terrain on the day with frequent stops at interpretive markers. Bring your camera.
This is a unique geological preserve and a great learning experience.
Adults only and no dogs. Good footwear, long sleeves and pants recommended. Bug spray if you are so inclined. Water is always a good idea. Reservations are appreciated.
Malloryville is between Cortland and Ithaca just off Route 366 on the West Malloryville Road. go through the hamlet and it will be on your right.
