Nature Tour of Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge - Sunday, Feb 19th at 3 pm

  • Join with the West Volusia Audubon Society on this wildlife tour of Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge in Deleon Springs, Florida.

    Master Naturalist and author Roger Fulton will lead a nature tour exploring the refuge and its flora and fauna.  It is sponsored by the West Volusia Audubon Society and is free. All you have to do is make a reservation and show up at the Myacca Parking Area on Mud Lake Road in Deleon Springs, FL. Roger will have his 60 power scope for great views of the birds and other wildlife on the refuge.

    We will cover about 2 miles in about 1.5 hours of easy walking on flat trails. Good footwear is recommended and no open toed shoes. Adults only and no dogs. Reservations are required. Heavy rain or lightning cancels.
