2 Nature Hikes This Saturday afternoon 5/26/18 3 pm

We'll explore two Finger Lakes Land Trust nature hikes on this afternoon. The first hike is a 1.4 mile, somewhat demanding, loop trail at the foot of Skaneateles Lake initially. You should be in reasonably good condition since there is an elevation change of about 300 feet down; and back UP. We'll follow a cascading brook down with a couple of nice waterfalls. We'll hike at a reasonable pace, stopping frequently to enjoy what we find in nature along the way.
If anyone wants to continue afterward, we can go about a mile up the road and explore the High Vista Preserve. That includes a 1.2 mile hiking trail with an elevation change of about 200 feet, up and down.
Adults only and no dogs. Recommend long pants and sleeves and good, preferably waterproof footwear. Bug spray at your discretion. Bring water since it may be warm that day.
Heavy rain or lightning cancels.
This location is about 35 miles from both Ithaca and Syracuse which is why we are doing two hikes to make it worthwhile to make the trip. We will offer it to both our Ithaca and Syracuse groups.

If you are not a part of the two Meetup groups invited, please contact me personally for a reservation since space is limited.
