Master naturalist to speak at DeBary Hall

Roger Fulton will present “Volusia outdoors” at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd, DeBary.
The master naturalist and outdoor writer will discuss his 10 favorite spots for hiking and biking in Volusia County. After his presentation, he will sign and sell copies of his books.
Fulton has published several management books and a series of trail guides for Florida, New York and Vermont. His definitive publication, “Safe in the Woods,” offers outdoor safety and survival tips.
The program is part of the Lemonade Lectures series, which is sponsored by the Enterprise Historical Conservancy and Volusia County. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.

DeBary Hall Historic Site, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is owned by the state and managed by the county’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division. Tours of the 1871 hunting lodge are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for children 2 and younger.
