From killer plants to Burmese pythons, Florida has its share of invasive species. Roger Fulton will describe the invaders you might find in your own backyard at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, in DeBary Hall Historic Site’s stable, 198 Sunrise Blvd, DeBary. He’ll also explain how to get rid of them.
Fulton, a master naturalist and author, has published a series of trail guides for Florida, New York and Vermont. His publication, “Safe in the Woods,” offers outdoor safety and survival tips.
His free presentation is part of the Lemonade Lectures series, which is sponsored by the Enterprise Historical Conservancy and Volusia County. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.
