Audubon "Scopes" Tours - Sundays at 3 pm through January and February

Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge, Deleon Springs, Florida

The West Volusia Audubon Society sponsors a free walking tour, for their members and the public, with experienced Master Naturalist Roger Fulton every Sunday from 3 pm to 4:30 pm at Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge, Mud Lake Road, Deleon Springs, FL. These tours run EVERY Sunday in January and February, weather permitting.
We all meet and greet at the Myacca Parking Area (and hope the eagles are out) and then lead a 2.0 mile casual hike along the dikes of the ponds to view the wildlife. We’ll have our 60 power spotting scope with us so we can “reach out and touch” birds and other wildlife at up to ¼ mile or so. We’ll spot several species of wildlife and explore all of the flora and fauna we can find during our tour.
Join us if you can. Reservations are appreciated.
