The Flora and Fauna of the Galapagos Islands 7 pm 1/12/15 - Sanford, FL

At 7 pm on Monday 1/12/15 learn about the flora and fauna of Darwin fame! Florida Master Naturalist Roger Fulton has written several Florida outdoor books which will be available at this presentation. During this 90 minute Powerpoint presentation he will provide insight and photos of what he found on the Galapagos Islands 177 years after Charles Darwin visited the islands on the HMS Beagle in 1835. Darwin's theory of evolution evolved from his exploration of these islands off the coast of Ecuador. This program is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Cuplet Fern Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society. Meet at the Sanford Club building, 200 Fairmont, Sanford, FL at 7 pm on the 12th.
