Safe in the Woods - "On the Trail" segment
This 1 hour Powerpoint presentation covers the basics of how to explore Florida’s natural areas, safely. Topics include how to read trail markings, what you need to be prepared to go out into the woods, and what to do if you do get disoriented or lost. He will also discuss what to do when you come face-to-face with some of Florida’s wild residents. This program is  presented free of charge at our Learning Center on Grand Avenue and Mud Lake Road in Deleon Springs at 3 pm on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Master Naturalist and author Roger Fulton will be the presenter and he will lead a short hike on the refuge at the end of his presentation. Space is limited.
